You should use one of those drills with a brush attachment when scrubbing the carpets. It makes it a lot easier & quicker
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
I usually do, but sometimes it can create more mess that needed

agree with Harper and sometimes I notice that the drill attachment pulls the fibres of the carpet and makes it look worse bc its very aggressive

@@HarpersCarDetailing there are light brushes that you can use you know, it depends on the amount of dirt on the carpet. 😉

What method do you use to clean alcantara seats, especially when there's dirt stains? I used all purpose cleaner diluted 10:1 but when I tried scrubbing even with soft brushes it kind of damages the fabric so I stopped.
@HarpersCarDetailing Жыл бұрын
I would just go with a damp microfibre, then use a light leather brush if that doesn’t sufficiently clean
@milkoil2 жыл бұрын
Finish the alcantara with a uniform wipe to give it one texture. Even though it's clean. It looks messy if it's scrubbed and left standing in different directions. Just a little detail.

Great content as always. Loads of people on KZbin detail cars but you (and only very few others) actually make me want to go out and detail mine right after the video ends. I've read you use a 24L compressor, how's your experience with it using the Tornador and what version are you using? My compressor is the same size but I am a bit skeptical about it being able to power the Tornador.
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mattia, that means a lot! The 24l will definitely be enough to power it but not for very long, so you just have to let the compressor fill back up. I would have got bigger if I had a van or more space 👍🏼
@mattiaiezzi93812 жыл бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing thanks for your reply. I guess it's enough to blow out small areas (like shown in the video) or a floor mat at the most. I'll stick to the BenBow venturi blow gun, that works wonders with my small compressor, even though it's less effective than a Tornador

I think its better if you use se a hot water vacuum, extractor rather than pouring a water and then sucking, which is time consuming and tedious ! Don't you think?
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Extracting is probably I little more efficient but sometimes there’s no way of getting into really right areas which is why on the interior footwell I opted for the wet vacuum approach.
