So this is how the guy that made the engine in my amg looks like :)

That has to be a job that makes you feel accomplished huh? AMG probably only takes the best. I have a stock 2014 CLA45 AMG and I can’t believe the power that 2.0L puts out! ❤️

Imagine if they combine two engines together 4,0 V8T and you will have 840hp and more than 1000Nm

That’s what the 4.0 v8 is

To see the heart of my next car, hopefully !! Love the concept one man, one engine! Germany excellence at work, I fear all this might be History in 15 years...

Hey AMG, ist das eine Simplex oder Duplex Steuerkette? Wie wird eine Längung der Kette vermieden?

I'm surprised they don't polish the AMG engine internals.

The parts that reside in the oil, not the parts with friction on other parts.*

Also surprised they didn't design equal length headers on the turbo manifold.

I really enjoy watching these production videos, the assembly, the tools, etc. But this was second class guys. Are AMG just not wanting us to see the whole process? Rubber toothed drive belt fitted to something or other, i thought how the hell do you access that in the future, then nothing more of the belt. Sometimes small things are important. Real shame. Too bad. 😒
@alexanderlam45124 жыл бұрын
No, they aren't giving you a step-by-step process on how to build engines. They're giving you a glimpse of what goes into it. Almost no one shows the WHOLE process of any of their products.

Mercedes " The best or nothing " still not nearly as reliable as a Honda and Engine manufacturing process not nearly up to par as Lexus. The best at what you ask? Making money on unreliable cars that drop in resale value faster than a Ford time and time again

Toyota, Honda and Mercedes are the 3 at the top in terms of engine reliability according to studies, there's not huge differences between them 3 in average cars in mass production. Mercedes does have a upper hand when it comes to sports cars because those AMG engines that are handcrafted it's pretty much hard to beat in terms of quality.

Hahaha. The only true AMG engines are 8 or 12 cylinders. Anything else is a poser with a badge.
