Why the door handle is still made out of this cheap plastic # does the 2020 version offer the door handles in the same color as the car and not just cheap stuff

The door handle is part of the cult about this car. There are far better solutions but people want this car exactly like it is. And the antiquated handles are a part of it. Yo can bet if there is a third version in 20 years it still wil have the tree locking differentials the door handels, the round headlights, you will still need to go to the gym to close the doors properly and the door hinges will still be on the outside (which was rediculous even in the 70th).

Rappers like this as vehicle can be armored in order to protect from drive-by shootings. This is a great "bug-out" vehicle. It is fast, and can cut through yards, while trying to escape from local gang rivals or the po-po.

Hi RL, Manufacturer claim to the Australian (combined cycle) standard is 13.1L/100km (around 18mpg). We managed 16.7L/100km (measured at the bowser) which equates to 14mpg. James C

Yes, this unit needs a diesel version, as in Europe. U.S. has basically closed the door to European diesels--since the VW/Fiat/Mercedes/BMW emissions debacle.
