Скажите пож.ста,а этот код его в меню команда надо брать чтоб потом ввести в ведиамо или он берется с другой программы.я хочу на своем авто поменять аудио 20 ,на нтг,как работать с ведиамо знаю,а вот понять где код брать, нет информации.есть только видео где на руле нажимаеш +++- и трубка,потом заходиш код 25 pin и там будет пин код.это его надо вводить в ведиамо или как найти код.спасибо

Hi! Nice tutorial. One question. If i put a new head unit in, and enter the anti theft code, later if i put the original unit back, that will ask its code again? Or the information is saved into the head unit, and later i can install the original one back. I just got another head unit and want to try it if it's working, but dont want to loose the original unit since i have no code for that one. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Thank you for the comment! This security issue is in the HU only. Every time HU turns on it checking from ignition lock current VIN. If “original vin” matches “current vin” it works as usual. If “original vin” don’t match “current vin” it blocks and asking for anti-theft code. When you execute “enter pin” procedure HU changes value of “original vin” to “current vin”. It means when you unplug any HU from the car it keeps your car vin in codings. And after any time and any installations you just return it back, HU simply check VIN of the car and will work without blocking. Sorry for long answer. In short - the radio is not blocked if you return after a while to the same car.

Hi! If the only option is to change a HU, try to save whole coding from old one between rebooting. Replace it, get and enter anti-theft code, code it by coding from old one (if it was possible to save, if not, you can try by your own, or online options), download map and setup it. Unfortunately you will need buy map code also…

When I connect to car with Xentry and diagnose, the process takes long time to 'initialise ecu modules' and when i go into A26/17 (which takes long time) it says HARD Disk abnormal. My question, will I be able to get the pin code of the used one with Xentry, Vediamo or DTS Monaco? If I install it in the car? My car is 2019
