Cadillac has the best pedigree of any American car. And makes some of the finest cars in human history right now. CTS-V Blackwing with a supercharged v8 and 6-speed manual! I’ve been a Mercedes Tech almost 40 years. MB made some great cars, but frankly Lexus Engineering, materials, and build quality is just as good. Outside of their supercars, the current Mercedes lineup is unremarkable. My two current cars are Mercedes W123 wagon, and a W126 diesel sedan. Mercedes was making those in the 80s when Cadillac was making the Cimarron! How things have changed.
