This Mercedes-Benz A150 has a small 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 90hp. It's equipped with the Tiptronic - CVT transmission and does 0-100kmh(62mph) in around 12 seconds. It's not fast by any means, but quite alright for city driving!

My mother is 90 years old and has this car, she said that she refund the pleasure of driving thanks to the cvt and general softness and ease of driving. Sometimes I use it and I think that its the perfect car for city driving, its very comfy, spacious even though its quite a little car and it turns well. The CVT in manual mode shifts very quickly and has 7 gears and makes the car more fun too drive. Quite a surprising car and so much better than modern city cars

Daca ar fi sa alegi din nou, ai alege tot Clasa A? Raportat la buget si nevoile tale. Si cum e cu intretinerea? Ma astept ca servisarea sa fie mai scumpa. Dar ca fiabilitate generala, e ok? Am gasit ceva asemanator cu aprox. 70000 de km, 2011, 6500 de euro, la reprezentanta. Multumesc.

Din pacate masina nu este a mea, dar o conduc destul de des. Pentru oras masina este foarte ok, te strecori destul de usor cu ea, doar ca trebuie sa ai grija la borduri, e destul de joasa. Intretinerea nu e scumpa atata timp cat nu se strica ceva electronice. Modelul din 2011 s-ar putea sa fie mai fiabil, Mercedes si alti producatori aveau in general probleme cu fiabilitatea la sistemele electronice la inceputul aniilor 2000. Daca nu te intereseaza valentele sportive la o masina, eu zic ca nu te va dezamagi, ai o pozitie inalta la volan, locul pentru pasagerii din spate este generos, singurul inconvenient din punctul meu de vedere este suspensia destul de rigida.

Eu acum am o masina de clasa mica in 3 usi. Sunt f multumit de ea si nu mi-a "cerut" bani. Din acest punct de vedere tine "cu casa". Si am si consumuri bune. Deci singurul motiv pentru care as vrea sa scap de ea, ar fi inca o pereche de usi si un spatiu ceva mai mare. Iar Clasa A se pare ca are o devalorizare destul de mare -> chilipir sh. Pe de alta parte, nu imi vine sa schimb masina de dragul unei sigle Mercedes. Ma doare in cot de asta, daca masina incepe sa ceara bani. Am auzit ca CVT-ul este greu, f costisitor de reparat si nu oricine are curaj sa se bage la asa ceva. Nu e o cutie prea solida si e recomandata evitarea ei. Am vazut ca pretul pieselor nu e asa mare. Nu imi fac griji de asta si niic de manopera mai scumpa. Imi fac griji sa nu ajung in fiecare an service cu probleme. Ca atunci ma... pe ea de masina! :p Multumesc de raspuns. :)

Cutia CVT intr-adevar s-ar putea sa fie o problema. S-a devalorizat in primul rand datorita aspectului, modelul asta e considerat destul de urat(in orice caz, mult mai urat ca A class-ul din 2012 incoace). Nu te lua dupa sigla, in general la firmele germane, modelele gen clasa A, seria 1, A3 nu stau foarte bine la materialele folosite la interior de exemplu.

Te referi la C-class-ul meu, nu? A class-ul din video-ul acesta nu este al meu. Nu am ales cutia manuala pentru ca majoritatea drumurilor le fac în oraș la ore de vârf și sa tot schimb din treapta 1 în treapta 2 și înapoi nu mi se pare plăcut. Deci în principiu as putea spune ca am ales o automata pentru confort. Mulțumesc! :)

Aceceleration?Hello mates that failure is box of valves (unit) and apart this gearbox has an inverter fault (belt of the gearbox of w 169) this is denounceable I want to change the whole box with the unit is what has been 6.000 euros osea more than what the car is worth, if you want to report please let me know we can not pay for a construction error we

Multumesc! Nu exista termeni de comparatie, A-ul e mai inalt, are suspensie destul de rigida, dar directia foarte usoara si deconectata de la sosea nu fac masina foarte placuta la condus, mai ales in viraje. Masina pur si simplu nu are valente sportive de niciun fel, pozitia la volan e destul de inalta, e ok ca masina de oras sau chiar de drum lung atata timp cat nu te astepti sa faci multe depasiri cu ea. C-ul este cu tractiune pe spate.

TheFabytm ma nene , tu nu știi sa o conduci! plus ca e retardata cu cvt ul , are suspensie adaptiva corelata cu sistemul de direcție , ia încearcă cutia manuala cu 6 trepte.asa in linie dreapta toți sunteți șoferi .😂

@@lucan791 thanks for the input Lucan.I really like these cars but they have got e bad rep for sone reason.Especially the fear of rolling over or working in the engine.Nonetheless it's a Mercedes definitely a great car.If i buy though I'll buy manual.

Anestis Louadis get more a newer model 2007 up , never had a issue with mine at all , I went away for 3weeks and left my car when I got back I started it and it ticked over straight away , try and buy one also with as little previous owners too . Mileage in the range of 45000 . Honest won’t regret it

My parents have a 2008 A150 manual. It's been trough a lot of abuse (because of me ;-) ) and it still has no problems at all. It does only have 55000km on the clock. But the suspension is quite comfortable but extremely sloppy for sporty driving

It's just the way the camera picks up noises, I've done a road trip with my mother's W169 A170 automatic, it drives like a charm! Pretty quiet as well and did 7L/100km over 3000kms!

Cutia de viteze? Nu e asa rea... Doar in momentele cand faci kickdown devine enervant sunetul. In rest e ok mai ales pentru ca e foarte smooth.

Asa pare cand faci kickdown, dar in rest tine rotatiile motorului constante, in functie de cat apesi acceleratia si viteza creste mai liniar decat in cazul unei cutii obsinuite. Practic, cutia schimba intr-una rapoartele pentru a mentine rotatiile motorului constante. Cutia are si un mod "manual" unde poti schimba manual vitezele si acolo emuleaza treptele unei cutii cu 7 viteze.

Indeed, at high speeds it is pretty loud. Also, with the gearbox being a CVT, it gets annoying hearing the same loud engine note during kickdown...

@@muzictherpy I have had a facelift 2010 A160 blue efficiency and a 2009 A150 Classic SE. On the motorway they are literally big saloon quiet and stable. Engine can be raucous because it's beneath your feet, and in his case with the CVT it's going to stay at maximum RPM at full throttle.
