Not if you do it contactless. The force of the high pressure water combined with the soap will clean the surface. If you start at the top, you'll just rinse the soap below it away, the pressurized water has nothing to work with once you get there and it won't be cleaned properly.

Its just logical if you think about it, this is an non contact wash, it works best if its washed away with high pressure, so if you clean top to bottom, you would rinse the soap away, so bottom to top is better on larger vehicles

Yes you are right, you don't know! It isn't more work because it's part of the work. It's 3 working steps and not 2, so rinsing everything down you can do after that. You are just wasting soap and money if you just rinse it off top to bottom and don't make it work with water.

How come when I watch some one applying the soap they always start at the bottom instead of top down. Same goes for when they rinse off the soap. When you shower do you start from bottom up. Think about it.
