The seals must be installed without the use metal tools. They contain magnetic rings are are what the ABS system reads. Mercedes uses a tool to pull them in, but I think putting something against the seal like the head of a rubber mallet and tapping the other side of the mallet should work.

You made that look pretty easy. Was it hard to get the old bearings out? I had a Scion with a similar assembly and it was a BITCH to get the bearings out. It took my buddy hours to get them out.

Finding the right bearing kit for the Kompressor is a hassle. I was told the best way to get it was through the dealership. I ordered one from the bay but had to return it, it’s never the right kit

You need to pack the needle bearings with the grease. It won't spread out quickly enough and you will do damage to the new bearings

You need to force the grease in between the small spaces of the bearing before you install the new bearing. Use a bearing packer or take atleast 1 hour forcing the grease in between the spaces. The car wont pack for you as you drive. Very crucial.

@@joshuaburke5339 : follow Vusi Ndlovu advice , if you don’t have accès to à bearing packer then use a bolt,nut plus 2 properly sized washers , fill the hub with bearing grease, little overfilled and compress it with the washers , long process repeat and repeat but it does the job the ghetto way lol

Not too hard the bearing stuff isn't torqued very tight. The hardest thing to remove was probably the brake caliper or possibly the rotor if it was rusted on.

Tell me you paint your brake calipers without removing them, without telling me you paint your calipers without removing them
