Mercedes Benz C300 blower fan not working

I had a c300 and this worked like a charm from a simple swipe of the fan. In fact my air started blowing colder than it ever did. Thank you so much. This saved me $1800 the mechanic was trying to charge me. 😊😊😊

Thank you so much for this video! My wife's 2014 C250 fan stopped working and my mechanic said it was probably one of 3 things: fuse, fan motor or blower motor resistor. Before I proceeded to spend a minimum of $500 on this problem I searched KZbin and found your video and thought it was at least worth a try. It worked like a charm! Awesome. You made our day.

OMG! My blower motor has not been working for months and received an estimate for over $1,000 to replace. I needed to have my battery changed today, so we had to take off the cover and had the battery install tech check inside the fan compartment, he said that there was something stuck, he put some lubricant on it. This trick worked! I want to thank you for this trick!!! We just.saved me $$$$$$$$

Wow this worked, thank you!! Just started getting really cold out here and needed to defrost the windows lol make sure to get a hold of the middle clip when taking off the cover. Ended up dropping it down into the engine.

Thanks Carlington, Was diagnosing why my blower wasn't working and after checking the fuse decided to randomly check reasons why it might not be working before taking it intot he shop and having them look at it. This was the first thing I saw, checked the fan and hand turned and it started right up. Must have been a bit of debris in there - appreciate you making and posting this, it saved me a trip to the shop!!

J'ai eu des problème avec le mien également, la première fois y a 2 ans, le garage a changé le blower mais après 2 ans le même problème est survenue, alors j'ai fait comme toi mais je me suis aperçue que en fait comme je suis du Québec qu'il y avais infiltration d'eau et de neige a l'intérieur du a un défaut de concept, il faut ajouté un filtre en mousse pour régler le problème sinon les roulements du blower vont rouiller a la longue

Dead spot in the motor. That motor could potentially continue to work for a long time without a problem, just so lang as it doesn't stop on that dead spot.

Some times it doesn't matter even big motors just jam and doesn't turn. I put on mine few drops of WD40 works perfect

I spent way too long reading about this problem since it could be so many issues like blockage of the fan, a fuse, resistor burnt out, motor burning out, etc.. was about to give up and call the shop. I decided to hit up KZbin and came across this. Literally watched this video then did what it said and fan is back to blowing like a hurricane at full speed! Thanks so much!! I read so many forums and nobody said to try this lol
