I have owned a few luxury cars, Lexus, Audi and Mercedes. Just picked up another new CLA, and have been impressed by the safety features. I am however most disappointed to find that Distronic is an on demand system, and that after 3 years I will have to pay for other safety features. This just reeks of greed by MB, and shows that although they promote the safety of their cars, in reality complete safety is down to ability to pay for it. The cars are expensive enough without charging for systems paid for when the car is purchased.
