This is the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake. The tested Mercedes CLA model is 250e which is a plug-in hybrid with an approximate electric range of 60 km/37 miles. A bright yellow Mercedes estate PHEV? Does it make any sense? Has Mercedes lost it?

"Hello" from Canada Anna. I always enjoy your reviews, but I particularly enjoyed this one. Usually you are "speaking" at the camera (in a very professional way, of course) but in this video ... you "talked" to the camera in the most wonderful way. Little dips in tone and modulation make this video very pleasant. I felt like you were talking to me, rather than reporting at me. It was most agreeable. I told myself to leave this alone. I know Mercedes does odd things like call 4 door cars "coupes", but doesn't a shooting brake (by definition) only have 2 doors? Cheers.

Last year september i ordered a CLA250e shooting brake business solution plus with AMG and night package in colour white. I hope i have him next month. I did get a black cla180 shooting brake with amg and night package, 2 go on vacation, great service from Mercedes Smeets Netherlands. Nice review 👍

I have been waiting for 12 months, the car will be delivered in the next 2 weeks. They told me today that they removed 4 options because of the shortages... I'm really angry because they should have told me this sooner! I went for the digital white 250e shooting brake amg line.

@@TheVanduysen I’ve been told today that mine will also be delivered in October (after waiting over a year). I haven’t been told about the removal of any of the options though. Do you know what they have removed?

@@whitec3 These options were removed without asking me; 1. Electric Tailgate 2. Easy pack tailgate 3. Memory seats 4. Subwoofer And they recommended in the beginning not to take the AR navigation as this would delay the delivery which was estimated at the time for 6 months, so I dropped that option but got delayed anyway with another 6 months.. I will still take the car but not with the same (happy) feeling I had before, looking for another car would take another couple of months due to the global shortages and the dealer know this a well so they are like, "take it or leave it.." My advice for you is to keep a close eye on the delivery and the options that are delaying the delivery. Just some information, my car is manufactured in Kecskemét(Hungary) and to be delivered in the Netherlands.

Oh Lovely looking baby deer!!! WoW Anna you are certainly treating us with not just one video but two. Brilliant review like you always Anna. I totally agree I love the looks of the CLA Shooting Brake but then again estates/ Shooting Brakes are my weakness as I probably boring you to tears of saying. Theses days I do love a nice bright colour car and yes I love the looks of that CLA in that colour as wells as those big multi spoke alloy wheels. Normally I would say red interior with the yellow exterior but I think in this occasion I think it would ruin and not suit the CLA, But it would be interesting to see it in the brown like you suggested. Knowing you Anna it would be spot on as you always dress/ style is always on point and it looks like you try and match up with the colours you are wearing, like your gloves, trousers and the painted nails. The interior looks great and classy, I love the ambient lighting and the entertainment screens as it doesn't look like an I Pad slapped on it. Yeah I know that feeling with the stalk thing as when I had the Monaro VXR the indicator and the screen wash was on the opposite side from normal so I was constantly hitting the wrong stalk when I was in my mums or dads car back in the day. I still don't know why I get shocked when I hear that there's a small engine powering the car but I do. I think it great with all that BHP and the performance that is coming from the 1.3 litre and the hybrid system. Very very impressive performance and sounds quite aggressive and mean. I was thinking after one of your videos and it got me thinking again with this video. You was saying about friends and family asking your advise about buying a new car. Have you ever thought about doing or helping people, your viewers to spec out there car that they are thinking about buying/pcp or company there new car? You could do it behind a pay wall, where they go on your website and pay a fee to be able to tell you what car or cars and a budget they want to spend and you come back with the specs you think is best. like model variants, colour of interior and exterior, materials like seats optional extras they should have and the one they shouldn't have. As you are very were a know us men are rubbish at colours coordination and get more tech then we need in are cars. It's just a thought but I guess you are a very busy woman and haven't got time for this. Brilliant video but you going to hate me. I think it saws the editing side but when you was showing the boots space the texts was mostly out of the screen like that part was zoomed in. But ever then that just brilliant especially you and you presenting. As always all the best Anna and you have an heavenly day and god bless you. :-)

In the UK this colour choice is not possible in the 250e hybrid. The 914 sun-yellow is only available in AMG CLA35 and CLA45 here. So only in Poland is this possible ?

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!!!!!!!! (BABFOFF laws)
