What a throwback! Love the commercials that said that- almost included it in this video, honestly. “The Best or Nothing” as a phrase is something I think characterizes the E300D very well. It’s got great build quality, it drives well, and still holds up as a nice and functional vehicle, 28 years and 290,000 miles later. After driving it, it just felt right to title it as such, since that slogan was a recurring thought during the filming process. I see where you’re coming from though, mottos are hit or miss. The meaning of the slogan is more along the lines of the pursuit of nothing with no compromises along the way.
