there are other EVs have no "frunk" those mean the car is not designed from ground up for EV. The reason is they don't want the EV sales eat into their ICE cars sales. Traditional car makers have difficult time to work on EV and ICE at the same time. The other reason is their engineers cannot make a small, powerful and efficient motor and so, they have to put it in the front. Not just the motor, other parts like inverters and HVAC, ...etc. There are many youtube videos that explain why and some took the cars apart + examine each part to understand why Tesla is many generations ahead.
