Why is the owner so offended by Audi? Audi has a massive market share in every single country and has grown massively over the past ten years. Audi's mid-size sedans (A4,A5,A6) are more common in our local market than BMWs and Mercs because of their comfort and style. Audis are everywhere in Lahore and Islamabad because people like them so much.

I believe you have got LOTS wrong with review . I have EQC premium plus in Lahore :- 1) First The EQC's suspension is relatively straightforward made up from MacPherson front struts and a multi-link rear. Air springs are standard fit (self-levelling on the rear axle). This is why it is not as pleasant over pot holes as Etron . 2) EQC entry model is the same price as Etron 50 . Where as premium plus is almost 10K£ cheaper than Etron 55!! 3) it is quicker than Etron 55 and has longer range but it is smaller in size than Etron 50/55 4) THE PADDLEDHIFFTERS are not the gears !! They are the regeneration modes!!! 5) despite owing EQC myself and loving it , I would not rate Merc over Audi . So typically dated concept !!

But despite all what I mentioned above I will prefer it over Etron any day . Got it for my dad for reasons that audi can’t address . Audi’s suspension is better but more tuned to sports where as EQC glides better and far more relaxing for my elderly dad in heavy Lahore traffic . EQC 400 is a notch above in comfort than usual fossil fuel C class . Its sound proofing is certainly better than a diesel S class 350d

@fahad sultan . Mine is in Lahore . I imported via DAC wheels (The person who is driving the car in the following review) . He managed to get fully kitted car with ventilated seats and massagers . I don’t live in Pak . But EQC is a better option for Pakistani roads than Etron 55 and is cheaper ( like for like ) . The only downside is the ground clearance is similar to civic despite being a SUV due to lower battery packs .

Overseas Pakistanis are offered car import schemes for personal or family usage but you pay them for their passports and then premium on top to send you dollars for this grey trade to import cars and then sell it off to uber rich elite who most often than not don't earn Pakistan a single dollar and are in "rent seeking" trade inside Pakistan. The buyer can pay a billion rupees tax but the $100k going out for a luxury car is something Pakistan cannot print itself, a country with $10+ billion deficit could use less deficit and anyone who imports a $100k car and creates an import lifecycle of 10 years for parts and accessories isn't patriotic but a self serving selfish Pakistani resident!

I disagree with suneel munjh regarding no effect of heat on electric cars. Electric cars have battery pack which has its cooling system. Which directly effects the battery charging and discharging cycle.

Pakistan's automobile industry is in development phase right now. We have got many mainstream car manufacturers from south Korea, France, China established their plants in a few years but nothing in luxury segment right now. Imported vehicles cost us almost 3.5 times the worth of car due to taxes, still Pakistanis buy these products.

@@harshkumarshiva1 Political issues will never let this happen. Land Rover sell its products in Pakistan even it is owned by an Indian company. Ssangyong was making a joint venture with Dewan Motors to locally assemble its crossovers but it was delayed due to economic issues being faced by Ssangyong, though it is owned by Mahindra. Indian owned products are sold in Pakistan but Indian products aren't able to be sold as Indian public would behave aggressively towards them. Honestly speaking, Tata and Mahindra are getting better and are capable to make a good market share in Pakistan if launched.
