Is there a specific NM torque to apply to the bolts when installing? Awesome video! By far the best I have seen.

Hey this is great! Did you have to bleed your brakes after this? There are so many mixed opinions about this online.
@maksimus-129Ай бұрын
No bleed was done. As long as no fluid leaked out or was released it does not require bleeding. Just gotta pump the pedal several times and then go out for a drive and work the brakes in.

Good video with socket & tool sizes! Didn't see you replace the Brake Sensor. Why?
@maksimus-12920 күн бұрын
Good morning a lot of the sockets and wrenches are actually shown in the video. Let me know if you mean a specific part and I’ll let you know. As far as the pad wear sensor. We didn’t replace it because replaced the pads before the pad sensor wore through!

@@maksimus-129 Greetings my friend! Again great video and extremely helpful. I commented in the affirmative that you did provide the tools used and socket sizes. That was awesome. And yes, my question was about replacement of the brake pad sensor(s) but I now understand the brake pad sensors are not always on all four wheels. The sensors are often on 2 of 4 wheels (one on the front and the other on the rear). That was the case with mine. Great helpful video. Thanks for responding. Keep the good information coming!!

@@maksimus-129 I reviewed the video again, and could see you actually reused the old brake pad sensor (start @ 11.39). Just a question, not a criticism: do you think it's best to replace it with a new brake pad sensor since you've gone through all the trouble of replacing the pads and rotors? Mine only cost $9.49? Just a "student learning the craft" question. Thanks again for your contributions. You're the best !!!
@maksimus-12919 күн бұрын
@ Me personally I would agree with you and just replace it. However he just found it easier to just reuse.

Did you need to compress a brake piston to get the caliper back on?

Great Video but the rotors that you took off look brand new they had meat for days with no edge on them . I really enjoyed your video I really like securing the calipers w/zip tie it drives me crazy when people will sit on the spindle or just let hang 👍

I just finished watching and saw lip on the second rotor that would definitely squeal every time you step on the brakes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Video

I don't think you are getting enough credit for your choice of background music. It's always a good thing to be calm and "one with nature" while doing brakes. Especially when taking off that little stupid bold holding on the rotor.
