They say 85 mils on a charge, but I have driven my 2015, 95 miles to my dealer (for the annual battery certification/maintenance necessary to keep the warranty in force) and still had 24 miles left on the guess-o-meter. (I make that trip on secondary roads so that my 50-55 mph speed won't be a hazard to Interstate traffic.) My car has the option that allows you to charge to 90% on occasion. The owner's manual says to use the extended range option sparingly.

An electric car without recuperation would be quite stupid. Most of the time you don't need the brake pads, it's just done by recuperation by the engine.
