I have W203 C240 one, 2.6 engine not diesel. 2003 year, it has some electric problems like lighting and etc. Goes very well, has very quiet voice and is very safe car. P.S: i don’t have monitor but it makes look car more beautiful i want to buy and stock it

You have a great car, I have a c240 with a 3.2-liter engine with improvements, it has about 250hp and my maximum speed has been 254km / h

a c240 is a small v6 not 3.2

Did you change the ecu module too? Bc i dont think to change only the engine makes difference, c240 and c320 both have the same engine, different is the ecu module, c240 has limited power to 170hp. Is it working well? Bc im intereset to do this swap to my c240

Hey, merc owner here. First of all, you need to chose the model. C class, Eclass, etc. 2nd, the chassis year. If you want a c class, get a w203 avantgarde from 2004 or newer, the interior is way better, or a w204, but don't get anything pre-facelift, the 2008-2010 should have never been sold as mercs, they are pure shit. 3rd, engine. If you want a diesel, the c220 is the best you can get. Has enough power to do 240kph no problem, even on the w203 (if you get the facelifted one with the 150ps engine, wich is almost the same engine the w204 c220 has). You can also get a c270 or c320 cdi w203, or a c250 or c350 if you want a w204. If you want petrol, just get the c32/c55 w203 or the most powerfull w204 you can buy. I own 3 mercs at the moment, a w203 c220 cdi avantgarde from 2004 that I use as my daily (has a few mods, Hybrid turbo, bigger intercooler and a tune, and it's making around 220-250ps and 500-600nm of torque), a w221 s320 cdi and a 2008 c63. The interior quality on the w203 is comparable to the s class, but doesn't have anywhere near as much leg space on the back. The w221 s class is the best or nothing. The c63... I thought that it would be a nice c220cdi replacement now that I can buy all the petrol I want, but the interior and ride quality is just pure shit. You can feel every little bump on the road, even in the facelifted non amg cars, the interior is a bunch of crappy leather combined with plastic, but the engine is glorious. I hope that I gave you some good info. (sorry for my bad english)

+David De leon It is the C 180 Kompressor, 1796 cm³, M 271 Motor, 105 kW (143 PS) @ 5200/min, 220 Nm @ 2500-4200/min and in 9,7sec to 100km/h or 60mph. So a weak machine but sufficient for the weight ;-)
