The engine its not provided by Renault. The Mercedes version of the engine is built in the Kölleda Plant in Germany. The Renault engine is built in Spain and in the UK.

Great car in Premium Plus trim but beware Mercedes have omitted Electric memory seats, Augmented Reality from the MBUX and even the drivers spectacle holder on the 2022 MY .I was most disappointed to discover these omissions when I took delivery of my new vehicle last week. Guess I should have read the small print in the brochure

when i got a build slot sheet and the car had left factory in jan this year, I cancelled my order coz of the removed features you mentioned. I have decided to wait till the features return. Beautiful car to drive especially the CLA200 Premium Plus.

Engine mask very low ,so you hit every hump, seats uncomfortable AMG package, infotainment system works 50 % of the time, dead stearing ,so not impressed

@@jimblack8104 a Mercedes engine which is codeveloped with Renault. I’m guessing probably saved them some costs but still a Mercedes engine mainly
