You'd need to speak to a Mercedes specialist for that. Although you should simply be able to drag them over from 'music' on your imac to the sd card. It may take a while to move a large amount over but it should do it. Whether the Mercedes command system then lets you access those playlists I'm not sure (Without trying it myself and I always have my phone plugged in but can see why you'd want to do it e.g. access all itunes music anytime without the phone.

Only through the CD - you can't import it from the SD card to the music register not on my model yr anyway. I tried no joy, I asked the dealer and they said no as well

Sorry for the late reply. I just used a new SD card and copied over the music files straight from itunes on my mac. It didn't ask me for a format as such although I know just what you mean. However straight click and drag worked for me.

Certainly helps if you have a huge SD card that'll hold your entire music collection. leave it in the car and unlike your phone you won't ever leave it at home! How are you liking your mercedes?
