Any process to Virginize this exact part number ECU, I want to use our xentry to do real initial start up properly on a used unit. Just need to clear VIN out of epprom normally, I cannot find anyone doing this ecu that way, we do lots of other with abrites or even autel.

Is this procedure to upload to the processor or are you writing to eproms on the ecu? I have a ecu with a dead or unresponsive processor is it possible to unsolder the eproms and transfer to a donor ecu?

I've got a 1998 c200 auto stuck in limp mode, my mechanic wiped the codes and won't tell me what they were.. i don't have a 38 to 16 pin adapter yet but have an icarsoft cr. Is there any way to manually reset the ecu and tcu etc and if i do, shouldn't the codes re appear? I've searched everywhere and my local benz garage refuse to share any knowledge without large sums of money

Hi I need help I got s550 2008 when I was replacing my engine mounts I broke cyl 7 ignition coil plug and I did not notice it. I started my car and parked I noticed that my engine started running ruff . I noticed that cyl 7 coil plug was broken. I instead new coils and plugs runs the same way. When I check for codes I got cylinders 7-8 codes. I removed my ecu and sent it to MODULE EXPERTS in Jacksonville Fl. For repair. After long time I got ecu back after install car didn’t start at all. I mailed it back to them after two months I got my ecu and I got the same problem as I had in beginning same codes . Misfire on7-8 cyl PLEASE HELP

The Dealer told me my car, 2004 ML350, can not be fixed. The AAM went out and is now obsolete. Does you know a work a round because these computer are specific to each car and you can not substitute used parts. Great body , tires, interior, I need help!? Question, is it possible to get the ECM, AAModule, and Body controL (kEY) module from a like can with like number and re-install them in my can, WILL IT WORK. oH, YES, DO I NEED THE TRANSMISSION MODUEL ALSO. Hello Dan. Well done. I have ruined a few ECU PCB's due to removing the processsor for re=programming and was quite excited when I saw this post from you. I use a XProg M Box 5.55 to program and I have tried this method of yours, but the software keep on reporting "Device is silent and timeout" Am I doing something wrong? If I remove the chip from the board then it reads and writes without any problem. Do I need to apply power to the ECU or to the Xprog M power supply socket? Thank you. Freddie

Hello, I bought a 2000 ML320 and currently in limp mode due to previous owner replaced the original PCM/ECU. -my question to you is …without the original PCM /ECU can you program a new used PCM/ECU if yes, can you do it if I send it to you? Thanks!

Hi Dan, Thanks for posting this. My van had lost all turbo boost and the sprinter specialist said it’s the ECU. It’s not sending a signal for turbo boost and it’s locked by Mercedes? He said I’d have to take it there and it will cost a fortune. Would I be able to buy a used computer and have it reprogrammed by you? Or would the process be the same as the video. Good video. It’s pretty clear with cloning. If you don’t have a programer you can swap the chips too. But do you know how to virginize the ECU - to make it fresh like you purchase it brand new from the dealer?

Yes we also do virginize and we can even program key info from ignition lock if you don’t have a Mercedes computer to program the virgin ecu

you have to trace that problem with the car schematic. I bet the radiator fans are switched by the FRONT SAM (under hood near brake booster)

Just a question to be sure I understand. I have a faulty ecu on a w210 E200 and I am buying a new one, same parts number. 1. The Immo eeprom from mine needs to be transplanted into the new one and 2. the processor needs to be reprogrammed, right? Transplanting the Immo eeprom alone to the new computer will not be enough for it to work?

If the Ecu looks just like the one in this video a thick Ecu usually is on w210 then you only need to program mpu no chip
