Mercedes GL450 trunk is not open it's stuck

Had the same problem with my 2007 GL450. Pulled handle wouldn't open. Had to release from the manual handle inside. Found the latch mechanism sticky and not moving freely. Sprayed some WD-40 and moved it around a few times, problem solved! I guess I got lucky this time.

added oil still didnt work, loosened bleeder one at a time at hose ends to bleed air. worked, but used latch is not unlatching??

Remember one reason for the problem. If your car battery is too empty then the car computer do protect the battery and do not use the electric systems which it thinks are not needed.

Look like you have the Hydraulic left gate problem

Open the left gate look under the Spare tire you 9see the pump . Check the pump fluid

hey man, I have a 2011 GLK350, i can open the trunk door manually, i can unlock/lock the trunk but it doesn't go up on its own no more, took it to a dealership they say the module is bad. will cost 2500 to replace the module. Do you think they are telling the truth? coz I highly doubt it, any info appreciated. thanks

@@best_technician they told me the module is located at the front, they have to remove the front bumper to locate it and is labor intense, lol, is GLK different? would love you more if you can tell me!

@@jrjunior1229 first of all the model always Located near the trunk . There is no trunk model under the bumper 😂😂 . Any way try to find the model bye your self or you can go to advance mechanic shop instead of the dealer. 2500 is not reasonable. I know dealers are thieves but not that much lol .

As others have said, it’s the same issue. Mine wouldn’t open then eventually started working, then stopped latching a few days later.
