for anyone planning to do this, please make sure you do not have window curtain airbag or run the wire under the seat or trim. Otherwise the airbag will not provide enough protection or even cause danger.

Waste of time, didn't even show what it looks like on the screen not to mention how it connects to the head unit.. I still can't believe that vehicle came with electronic tailgate and no rear camera 😂😂😂

Late reply! But you don’t need to tap in to reverse light wire, just connect the trigger wire (red) with a power red wire. That is if you have trigger wire coming out of head unit

c 350e model 2015 W205's rear camera isn't working, so I replaced the camera, but the symptoms don't resolve. When gear R is running, the rear camera is running for about 2 seconds, and then the screen goes back to the menu. And the lid of the rear camera won't open. I forced it to open, and the camera screen comes out, but the still goes back to the menu after about 2 seconds. any one can help?

Not very helpful, no mention of the camera brand/model and where to source it. Also the video does not show whether the camera is integrated into the OEM screen or requires a separate display. Overall disappointed!

Sadly a non informative video. Wasted data. Firstly u join the cables without solder. Then u secure the earth cable without a ring terminal. U then run the cable by squeezing it between trims. Jeepers lucky u not working in my installation center. Last u make no mention nor do you show where the cables connect to? Did you use the OEM head unit? Did u have to get a module to link camera to headunit? Did u take reverse voltage from the rear light or from the module? Please if you doing a video information is important. In the title description list items required and source of items. Also list source of info. But thanks. Ur video was basically for novice installers that do not know how to mount the camera but not technical enough to supply hardware info.
