Mines got a different grille. With one trim slat & the 'diamond' effect bits. Much better looking I think. I didn't realise they did the two slat one.

no diesel offerings in Canada that I know of, i just ordered a 2021 glc 300, sport amg, premium,premium plus, intelligent drive , white exterior with red/blk seats , what do you think gasoline .255/273

GLC Coupé came off my shortlist once I realised the heavily limited build options meant that I couldn’t have active cruise control (‘Distronic’ in Mercedes-speak) without also having an options pack that includes running boards. I can’t understand why MBUK insist on this - in my opinion running boards add nothing to the look of the car but more importantly make getting out of the car more awkward/difficult. I’m looking at all the alternative brands (+ Porsche Macan) mentioned at the end of the review as as well as improved visibility, the higher driving position makes egress much less of a challenge (provided you don’t have ‘sports’ seats too). Stelvio and X3 are currently joint favourite.

What country do you live in? I have a suspicion that they were all part of the premium plus package?

UK. My must-haves on next car are active cruise and memory seats. As you identify, you can only get this combination if you scale up to Premium Plus but this then adds other stuff I wouldn’t want and certainly wouldn’t want to pay for. Even if I did accept this spec level, the running boards which are also added can’t be deleted, hence the GLC coming off my shortlist.

ismnot the Mercedes loosing sales bcause of left side driving, countries with this law are loosing opportunity to drive that great car ;b In Europe that’s insane to keep that law in UK when everyone around is doing otherwise.

Im really not a fan of Mercedes these days. The interiors have a lot of tiny buzzes and rattles with the firm suspension, no matter which model it is. They seem too plasticky inside for my liking. I used to drive a 190E back in 1990, it was solidly made and you felt it would last forever. Got stolen in London never saw it again.

Great review, so well done and tells you everything you could possibly want to know. Unfortunately I own a Discovery Sport! I so wanted the GLC but when we took one for a test drive, we discovered that it was very difficult not to rub your clothes on the door sill! Personally I would have ignored it because I loved the car so much Regret it now though..

Sorry, but I rather think similar videos from other YT reviewers are somewhat too short and superficial, sometimes not even giving me half the information OSV provides here. I really, really like this sort of no-nonsense, detailed style. :)
