Women were used as eye candy more than wrestlers, and women wrestlers weren’t seen as being a face for pro wrestling. So when you get a combination of a minority group like a Black woman who is a legitimate top 5 recognizable face in professional wrestling, especially growing up in the RA Era and out of the attitude era its really Mind boggling that we went from Jazz and Jacqueline who never got the opportunities that Trish and Lita got.. to now seeing Black Women be Mega Stars like Mercedes and Bianca Belair.. and Mercedes who is a legitimate draw for multiple companies; its a beautiful thing to see, the real question is. why does it bother white people so much when black people want to celebrate black wrestlers for doing something that has never been done before? WWE's women's tag division was and is still booked better than AEW's entire women's division. Let's see if Mercedes says anything about only 1 women's match for "the biggest event in pro wrestling history." No Athena, Nyla, Riho or Kris Statlander but MJF and Adam Cole can get 2 matches, more than the entire women's division got combined. I doubt she keeps it consistent tho.

I know I'm asking for the impossible but I wish I lived in a world where everyone just enjoyed wrestling for wrestling and didn't waste their energy on this WWE vs. AEW nonsense. I grew up on WWF, mainly the attitude era and felt lucky to be part of it. WWE today is not great, its okay, its been in a worse state than it is now. And AEW is growing as a company as we witnessed tonight. The only things I can critique is that I feel like AEW has far too many championships and too many kicking out of finishing moves but besides that, I really enjoyed the show tonight. I feel like both companies need to exist as there is so much talent out there and not enough tv time to go around. Either way, its a great time to be a wrestling fan. #RIP Bray Wyatt
