I bought a refurbished pump from Mercedes and the new wiring harness. The new harness also includes the second clip and wires that you seemed to keep from the original. Does it matter? Seems better your way because I don’t have to run more wires

I have a 2008(w221), should i flush the power steering fluid after 16 years? and if so how? thank you!

As far as I can see in the service info, there's no indication of flushing the system. They only mention to check and adjust the level. Like I showed in the video, I sucked the oil out of the reservoir with a syringe and filled it with new oil. If you do this a few times, eventually most of the old oil will be cleared.

I have changed alot in the front like bushings, i have 4new arms. Could that be my problem that i ha e not had alignment on the car?

Hi, I have a 2011 CL63 W216 with power steering failure. I changed the pump and harness and steering fault is still there. Any recommendations you might have?

How did you diagnose the problem? Error codes? Did you check power supply, ground and communication?

High , is it possible when ever you get the chance to show how to fix the parking brake? I have the same issue on my car. The dealer told me that I need a new parking brake actuator. Before I buy the part I wanted to see how it was done or if anyone can do it before I do it. Thanks !!

I fixed that problem already but unfortunately I didn't take the time to make a video about it. Although I took some pictures while I was fixing it. I removed the complete unit from the car and replaced the electro motor (eBay) inside the unit and put it all back together and until now it still works properly without any error codes. Thank you for a very informative how to for electric hydraulic power steering. Where did you get the refurbished unit. I'm in Toronto Canada and all my searches were unsuccessful to find one. Appreciate your help.

I'm based in Europe and bought it on Ebay (www.ebay.es/itm/113331611144?ul_noapp=true). It's a Polish company. Be sure to ask for the wiring upgrade to be included. Good luck!

Hi, please what tool did you use in display of pulse signal? An app on your phone?

I use a DSO Nano pocket scope to measure data (can bus) lines, sensor signals, PWM duty cycles or even ignition waveforms, relative compression test etc. With a scope you can pretty much diagnose everything on a car!
