I was told you don't have to remove the grille piece that covers the infrared sensor on the front of the car. That way the new grille isn't missing a piece towards the left of the 360 camera making it look odd. Can anyone confirm (you must have night vision to understand). Someone sent me a photo showing night vision still worked, but he wasn't sure if it was still able to detect people or animals because he never uses it. Before I pull this bumper off I'm wondering does anyone know? See 3:31 you'll notice a circular hole to the left. That's for the infrared/thermal camera. Now look at 6:15. Notice there's a "cut out" of sorts that breaks the grille lines. The aftermarket grilles come with a cover that has a fin built in so you don't have the look. But it obscures the thermal camera. Again, someone said the night vision still works. But I'm wondering what impact covering that has. Thanks in advance.
