Mercedes Vito 2009 problem with lights on the Dashboard

Parking Brakes tell tell flashing.
SRS warning light ON.
Interior illumination flashing.
A/C controller/ it’s illumination flashing ON/OFF,
Hazard relay flicking ON/OFF at the same time heater fan turns ON/OFF.
Indicator tell tell works at the same time with other flashing on Dash happens.
Central locking works only at the right time when the flashing ON happens whether using fob key or button on the Dash.
Starting the vehicle can happen only at the right time when flashing goes ON.
windows works at the same time when flashing goes ON.
All the above flashing time happens within 1.5 seconds ON, 1.5 seconds OFF.

I had issue mate like 3 weeks ago just replace the batteries in the key thob problem fixed.

The steer is also placed at the wrong side....

SuperNathanallan1 second agoI had this problem, I replaced the heater/blower resistor (£20 on ebay) and is ok now. It is easy to replace just remove top dash tray, cut out grid, pull out the resistor, unplug it and fit new one. . . .end of problem

Hi mate did you have these exact symptoms? I cant see how the heater resistor would effect the instrument cluster lights. Do you know if unplugging the resistor then starting the ignition to see if the problem is gone would work to see if the resistor is the problem?

Id like to know what the problem was as i can hear your relay clickingin and out....Was it a faulty relay or bad contact on the relay you can hear clicking? if not did you have a bad earth ?

Graff Meone No solution found. Took SAM unit to BBA Remain, and ECU Testing could not test it. So this vito was taken to main dealer by owner. As for problem it wasn't relay, it was something els causing relay to click, during that click happening no bottun on AC controler works brake light remains ON, engine goes to limp mood, central lock didn't work the only way to make central lock work was to press the bottun between the clicking times heppning. Vito was fixt by main dealer but the owner didn't get any information from them.

Lutfi Kelmendi thanks for your reply! The main dealers won’t tell you jack as if it happens to someone else they don’t want people to be able to fix it as they will loose out.

Anyone knows what is the problem? I have the same problem after I got my Air bag recall replace two weeks after it startet to play up.

Hi everyone I fix that problem it's a very minor thing some dirty connector on my vito was the Fan connetor just tuched it and everything came back to normal

What kind of fan connector vas it? as I had the problem with Vito too, all light on the dash and heater came ON and OFF, brake light came on, central locking was difective engine was not performing well. So I would like to know what was it.

Thanks, the van is at the auto electricians now,. What you have to realise, these vehicles are run by a computer, not fuses and switches anymore. Once it decides there are too many faults, it takes matters into it's own hands! Mine stopped the headlights working, so I couldn't drive in the dark!

That vito i was diagnosing were the same but i could turn it on only if switch it on at the right time between the clicking heppened.
