Great video. As a side note to anyone reading this. I fixed my reverse issue by applying a lubricant spray to the area. There wasn’t much grease and the gears were a little stiff. I sprayed a multi purpose lub on and it seems to have worked.

You are a real Hero. I've spent lots of money for these problems. Mechanics replaced lots of parts, never think about the Bush. I can't believe it, its a the simple solution.

Thanks for the video. Made the job quick (40mins?) and simple. In fact I found I didn't even need to fully remove the stick assembly. I didn't disconnect the second ball joint: managed to fit the new bush with that second joint still attached.

Great video.gonna have to do this to mine soon. Gear change getting very stiff lately. Meantime I'm gonna spray it with motorcycle chain grease .

You make this look so easy! My 2013 vito struggles to get into 2nd gear.. more so in the mornings.. crunching and hard to get in.. plus seems stiff in the movement.. Think Im going to attempt this. What sort of grease did you use to regrease it? Thanks

Very helpful vid, thanks :) Just about to order a kit to do mine. Out of noseyness, what sort of mileage had yours done when you did this repair? Mine is well up over 130k, and there's so much play in the stick that when it's in gear it wobbles side to side as much as it does in neutral!

Just had similar problem was tolled it's the clutch so I got the clutch done or did they just do this and lye about the clutch
