Mercedes Vito In-Depth Review 2021 - Best Mid-Sized Van for Businesses?

Would you buy a Mercedes Vito?

Had a 114cdi rwd 2.5 l Diesel with the 6 speed gearbox for 3 years and 70.000 km. Wasn’t satisfied very much. Pro: RWD / better handling / turning circle/ towing trailers Cons: safety belts replaced several times because they don’t roll back up properly Electrical issues: Annoying door ajar messages all the time. Couldn’t be solved Ignition switch failure several times Electric window buttons failed twice One key went dead after 2.5 years Trailer ball mounted way to low for ifor williams twin axle trailers A badly designed gearbox with a way to long second gear which meant going back to first quite often and creating a harsh ride. In addition it went back to the dealer for 4 times for a squeaky clutch pedal… Dealers always telling you it’s not an S-Class (is that any better anyway??) I would say Mercedes is resting on an image that isn’t shown in the quality of their products anymore.

Just received a 2023 Vito for my work, it’s awful. I hate it Vivaro was way better

What people want is a garage free van. A reliable van that will be there for you when your stuck in a Snow storm on the M1.. last thing people want is a vehicle which has niggling problems popping up every other month.

Why did the merc vans change wiper configuration to a standard wipe while Ford took the pre 2006 screen wipers????? It really let's this van down...🤔

Is it just me or does the latest version of the Vito / Viano smell a bit of Renault Trafic ? Nothing wrong with the Trafic, but I don't want to be paying MB prices for a Renault-Nissan.

The Mercedes Vito is a good van the main problem is the dam dealers the main dealer are so dam silly thay don't do the work thay are paid for simple don't ever get your van serviced from them at any cost I have lots of experience with them noway

Transporter = van ride Vito = Car ride The vito will need to be ridden to the mechanics less regularly too
