Mercedes Vito W639 Manual Gear Knob Removal

As I found out but accident the gearknob can be removed on a manual W639 Vito

Pop the cap on top remove the hex screw. Job done. No need to force anything

There is not any hole on top of the shifter where to put screw that one with the hole on top of the shifter is for a different model

Same dumb design issue in the sprinter W906... I can't believe this was the best solution they could think of.
