great video thank you very much I would like to know if this is otherwise known as the neutral safety switch? and if so it can only be reached from the bottom of the transmission? or can it be reached underneath the gear shifter? this is the problem on our 2004 class C240 thank you in advance?

Yes, does both, reversing light and safety switch. Not sure if this is the problem or how to reach this switch on your model

I think this is what I need to do to my 560SEC. Do you know what the part number is for the lockout switch?
