Mercedes w211 e63 trunk won't close

Can get trunk to close. Lock will only stay in the open (unlocked) position. I fixed it by replacing the truck lock actuator assembly. Was not hard but you will need to take part the trunk. Search for videos. Sorry, I was not able to record myself fixing
Genuine Mercedes Trunk Lock part number for w211 is 1717500185 but double check before ordering.

@@mrb973 I am. thank God. the handle (hook) to which the lock is attached has moved. and there are screws next to it, which, when unscrewed, you can manually move and adjust that handle (hook) and then it fits. because if it is false for a second, the lock will not close, or if it closes, it gets stuck because it cannot be released, from a bad position. and also something with the electricity, the mechanic told me like on the trunk, that is where the electricity comes from, the wires are a little loose. but thank God there are no problems, so I didn't even touch the wires. And that about moving the handle (hook), I found out with my father myself, because I had doubts about it and no mechanic believed that it was a problem. and I wanted to grind it so we saw the screws next to it and solved the problem. And it was not about lock. Well, look at the hook and see if there are any screws next to it to adjust it, if nothing, try a soft grinding. I wish you luck to solve that problem. All the best
