I never heard of that brand. Word of advice , always connect the negative last and disconnect it first, there will be no sparks this way.

i would use jump start connector and ground point rather than straight into battery on these new cars, or is it just that you dont have to take some parts out to get into terminals?

Im surprised Mercedes no longer puts the battery in the boot anymore. Plus the hood hinge, why did they re design it like that where it detatches from the hood? I preferred the w211 design where you just press the lock tab to open the hood 90 degrees.

I glad for the battery under hood, I don’t like it all when they put under rear seat or trunk! Not sure about the hood hinge but could it be something with the pedestrian safety futures that’s are in the hood 🧐

I have same engine on my vito with 240k on it and it sounds quieter compared to yours. These lithium jumpstarts are good when they work but unfortunately rapid discharging kills them fast
