As a previous owner of a 2020 C63S AMG, this car should have been released closer to the deadline of 2030. The fake engine sound filtered through the front speakers is in line with what BMW has been doing for years. However, due to complaints from AMG owners, the new CLE53 AMG has been released with a 6 cylinder engine. Hopefully, there will be a new CLE63 AMG with an 8 cylinder engine again. If AMG does this, I'm definitely ordering one. Thanks for the upload.

Sometimes it is what it is. Picking up my E63s just after new year to add with my W204 and W205 C63. This is where the forks lies with AMG and I. F90 M5 or the Alfa QV is where I'll be heading to after. I don't really care if the W206 is faster,the AMG noise is what brought me over from M in the first place. To be fair the W206 C63SE will make an absolute bargain buy in a few years.

@@TheExotich1 the W204 was the car that took me away from a E46. I cross shopped E92 vs W204 and the roar of the M156 completely won me over. No doubt the M3 handles better and it has a manual box. The M5 wagon and the E63s wagons are not available in Australia. My W205 is a wagon though.

When buying a brand new AMG you're gonna drive it stock until the warranty ends and then you're most likely going to buy a new one. Not everyone buys old AMGs and tunes them to oblivion, the majority of the customers buy the car and drive it without doing shit to it. So therefor the new C63s E is faster, I don't know why you guys cannot get over this fact and say "yes but tuning it...". Nobody. is. tuning. it.

For me this is no longer a real AMG. AMG is for me: big engine, emotions, no fake sound,.... BMW did it this time much better with the M3. And for what you get, this car is to expensive. I am constantly amazed at how many people brag about their car’s HP, but don’t have a clue as to its weight or torque. I have a MkV GTI modded to 2837 lbs. it is stage 3 tuned . I get owners of high performance street cars with at least 75 more hp thinking that they will walk on me and promptly view my tail lights. It’s power to weight that makes a car quick and fast. As far as going 2.0 turbo , makes sense if you want balanced performance in every area( acceleration, braking ,handling) Guys with heavy feet and small penises might not like it, but then they can always go buy a Vette.

They’ve absolutely ruined the c63. They will sell very little especially for 100k. I’d go for the 2021 e63 for around 80-90k way better car with similar tech or if you can find one the final edition e63 probably around 110k.

Trouble is V8 was never gonna be an option for Merc, they already reduced the size from 6.2 to 4.0. BMW had a decent smaller motor to go down from their V8 in their 6 cylinder block. I don’t think Merc have a 6 cylinder in their line up? A lot of people saying it was wrong move and AMG are dead but I think they’ve pulled a blinder here. They are going to be a generation ahead of their rivals when it comes to hybrid performance technology. Performance being the key word. They’ve got AMG One doing bits too so the data from those drivetrains and cars will feed into then next generation or C,E and S63 models. That aside and as a total petrol head myself I actually really find the car interesting, yeah it lacks sound but I do like innovation in cars and could geek out in one all day. And then looks, it’s a million times better than its rivals with that facelift and mega new interior! But yeah, sound is gone but it will be all gone for everyone soon anyway. Maybe they’ll do one last hoorah somewhere!

They have the 3.0 straight six from the C43 etc. very nice engine, has good potential. Why they decided to go down to an i4 when they could have just beefed up the existing straight 6 3.0 is madness imo.

@@SyedShah-ox3ke see above I don’t think the C43 3.0 is an AMG power unit. I mean if your going from V8 down, you may aswell just get ahead of the curve on the rest of the competition in innovation
