they are not exactly new. The lead Singer is now René (who Entered in 2008 in Architect of Lies) which made the harsh vocals after Kral left the band, with also de depart of Mikkel Sandager, he also assumed the clean vocals. For me the best pair in Mercenary is and will always be Kral and Mikkel Sandager has we can hear in Everblack and 11 Dreams Just to add, this one song from Hours That Remain has Jacob Hansen (former Anubis Gate, and actually in Pyramaze) in Bass in studio, replacing Kral until the arrive of René.

4 albums Mikkel Sandager entered on Everblack from 2002 than he did 11 Dreams(my favourite) Hours That Remain(this one) from 2006 and the last album of Mikkel in Mercenary was in 2008 the Architect of Lies after that Mikkel Sandager, Morten Sandager and the Drumms(i think) quit the band

@ScarsOfTheForgotten No, I have, but it's not easy to find when you're looking for melodeath bands. Besides, not too many bands use pure clean vocals anyway, excluding symphonic metal mainly. There are other genres that use clean vocals, I'm sure, but symphonic is the one that came to mind.

I assume you're talking about the music box? The song doesn't start with the music box, it's a video only thing. The song really starts at the bass kick. It was used because it fits the theme of the video, and it fits quite well.
