I was HUGE into this band in high school, the album Architect of Lies in particular. The riff at 1:25 and the entire solo section take me all the way back. Great song, guys!

Mercenary is, without a doubt, one of the top tier bands in terms of sounding so well rounded and complete with all of their songs. Everything sounds so epic with the blend of clean and harsh vocals, legendary guitars and drums and keys and symphonic sounds to bring it all together. I've been waiting so long to hear something new and this does NOT disappoint! Awesome work guys!

I remember back then in 2010 when I heard Architect of Lies because of a friend, who was a fan of you, recommended it to me. And I was like wow, then I listened to The Hours that Remain. Wow again. Metamorphosis is still my favorite album of yours but this one is for sure going to be huge. This feels like 2010 again, sooo good!

I want so much more of stuff like 2:55 this time around. To me that is one of the tent pole sounds of the Mercenary that I got hooked on years ago with Metamorphosis and all the albums that came before it. Dreamstate Machine and Forever the Unknown were sadly the only two tracks on the previous album that really scratched that itch for me. I really hope this new album has more of what I'm looking for. I want more of that old Mercenary ferocity!

In 2005 a friend showed me the intro to 11 Dreams, "Into the Sea of Dark Desires", and I got immediate goosebumps and that euphoric feeling that only exceptional music can give you. Every Mercenary album makes me feel like that. From the Ashes of the Fallen and this song give me that feeling too! I'm so happy to hear you guys again!
