Hello sir i have a doubt i just wanna know how hard is to become a master or a chief engineer like how tough is to clear the master exam every one only talks about salary no one talks about how tough is the master exam. Is it so easy to reach that rank? For eg out of 100 candidates how many of them will become captain or chief engineer in future. Please do reply sir no one talks about it

@@Ssense022 gud question … actually passing exams are very time consuming specially chief off and 2nd engg bcz 10 papers and they not pass easily so it take time dats why most ppl get frustrated. Also when ur going for master or chief engg ur age will be around 33-35 that time family and study is much complicated at this age

U will pass exam its not a competitive exam that only few will select every one passes exams if continue to appear but most ppl I know not appear due to may be personal ,family issues which make them late also exams

@@Ssense022 for chief engineer no waiting period but for master there is waiting period depending upon company …. For engineers market is much better as compared to deck officer , if you compared to promotion prospects engineers get promotion very easily once clear exams
