This is the 3rd video of me working on my 1991 Mercury 25HP outboard motor. Replaced the carburetor in 1st video, tried getting it to idle in 2nd video, now finishing up!

Should be 2 1/4 turns out on the air fuel screw

Service manual says 2 turns then find the highest revs =)

I have one of the screw should be from 2 to 2 1/4 out and they do run a little rough yours sounds really good to me

I have the exact motor doin the exact same to me just put a new carb kit in and I can’t figure out how to get it to idle without shutting off I’m missing something I’m stumped

I tried the carb kit. Didn't work...had to buy a new carb, cost me over $400...

idle screw, mixture screw, check sparkplug spark -> still not working rebuild carb, check fuelpump membrane and check compreression
