april 11th was the day after my girlfriend's gender confirmation surgery. she was born during a sun mercury cazimi in sag, and the eclipse/mercury cazimi was in her 6th house. for me that mercury rx represented a huge schedule disruption, and it totally knocked me off my routines. today, we are finding ourselves slowly returning to normal, back into our routines - i have signed up for an astrology class, i've submitted poetry and art to a local zine, i've been invited to some parties, and i'm reading again. healing is so nonlinear, but having the perspective between the mercury rx and where we are now at cazimi is really helpful and encouraging. this is the fastest i've personally ever recovered from a major schedule disruption, and i'm feeling more capable of pursuing my goals and interests than i ever have before in my life.

Wow, same!! My partner had gender affirming surgery on the 10th! Not only did i have to confront how absolutely terrified I was about my partner getting surgery while being a huge part of their recovery, but my routine was completely interrupted. I personally am not sure what my pattern is now but we are looking to relocate together and my relationship with them has gotten much more serious behind the scenes 👀 😊

I quit my job on April 10th to pursue my career as an artist. I’m in my last few weeks of the job now. I’m producing my best paintings behind the scenes and am so energized to have more time to give to art. It feels like my mind is on fire. Taurus rising with Venus (14) and Mercury (18) in Gemini. Was grabbed by Mercury or better Hermes as i call him in my internal dialog on 11th .. was too tired to do Ritual but lit some incence for him to support his process of beeing in the fire of transformation. Usually i do stuff according to the nature of these planetary spirits to support them but was just too tired that night so i said to him, hey i just cant do it but, as god of communication, i will post a little ai vid to TikTok .. as the least thing that i was able to do to show my respect. Done* Next morning i woke up to 6 mil views and 50.000 Follower. I'm afraid so.... But there is always a way to work with it. My Mars at 0° Sag is burned up by my Sun at 28° Scorpio... 🙄 So I work best in tiny bits of action, very well thought out, peferably something "turn the negative into the positive" or recycling stuff. Or make a sour person in a shop smile by saying something funny, stuff like that.

I’m sort of expecting some “clarity” to gradually manifest with how courses I’m taking applies to what I’m actually going to do. Plus, getting over my “I don’t want to read” stage. One thing that hit would be that, if the founders of the United States were Freemasons, courses are almost identical. One example is most people view the founders as Christian with the intent to support their views the U.S. should be a theocracy which is obviously in the constitution as unconstitutional. But it’s Christian in a “hermetic” sense. It’s also why it’s vague. Part of the reading material has a list of every major tradition and how incarnation cycles link them together, having individual freedom is freedom to both choose and assemble your own path. Part of that is (I’m terrible with names) would be that it’s clear in texts that Elijah was reincarnated as John the Baptist. More interesting is they say (at least the spirit) was incarnated in the artist Michelangelo. The part of the Sistine Chapel where god is in the space of the divine spark is interesting, that’s a whole other topic. Vague: if you don’t have a choice of making bad or immoral choice, you don’t have freedom (like it or not). You don’t exactly see “moral law” and it’s vague when you do see it implied. Basically, each incarnation or re-incarnation of a tradition is modified to the culture incarnated in, if you want multiculturalism, you need ALL of them and individual freedom assemble a tradition for yourself. Another, it’s clearly said that “esoteric Christianity” is almost identical to “esoteric buddhism” so it’s interesting the west has turned to it. The difference is the “I am” and not needing a “guru” or specific organized lineage. Thats how that is going so far.

I do deity work with Hermes. I blog about magik, Tarot and related topics, so Hermes, as both a herald of the gods and a word smith, is a good friend to have. I use the cycle between cazimis to help me with Mercury/Hermes related aspects of my life. At the retrograde station I turn inward to try to see what ways my communication habits might not serve me and others. At inferior conjunction, I prepare a special offering to hermes and talk with him about how my communication skills might be tweaked. By direct station, I try to have some ideas about what questions/petitions I might have for God's, ancestors, etc. I spend the time between direct station and superior conjuction (now) making these questions and petitions clear in hopes that Hermes will Hermes will carry these messages to the appropriate powers. Finally, between superior conjunction and the next retrograde station, I practice listening for what messages come from "on high" as Mercury heads back toward us. I've been working in a similar way with Venus about Venusian issues.
