MERCURY in LEO in the Birth Chart

I still remember when I slept over at a friend's house when I was 7 years old, and my friend told me that her parents had said that I talked too much! Being a sensitive Cancer, after that I got self-conscious about talking and emoting. I think my Mercury in Leo comes through more in the written word than through speaking, but as a college lecturer, I also often catch students giggling at the facial expressions I make (I'm not so "professorial" in my way of speaking). Being self-conscious about me talking too much never stopped me, though. Then again, I got Mars in Gemini as well, sextile my Mercury in Leo... which is conjunct Jupiter. It actually feels as if I were suffocating whenever someone "challenges" me to shut up. I love learning new stuff, reading and talking about it. And making connections this way. I also feel quite fine whenever I'm in the spotlight, provided it isn't a test situation.

I have a lot of aspects... and hard aspects of my mercury. I don't quite understand them since there are so many of them. Am I doomed, or can I still save this beautiful mercury and make it still shine? all your saying is very true, but I was born with a communicative disability (a psychologist identified me with this) but probably speak the best out of everyone who has this. I don't truly believe I even have it anymore, I just have to read more to keep up my language game, that's all. And I'm a little self-concsious about how I tell my stories (and how I explain. I have been misunderstood a lot in the past, but I try to practice it), but I love hearing stories and everything that has to do with story-telling (and I also love theatre - makes me feel SO good - to be able to express myself and make everyone laugh hihi). I also LOVE talking infront of a whole classroom, but scared when I actually have to explain something that i'm not used to explaining (like how to play a game) to a huge ton of people. I keep trying thought! I have the same combination but in Aries and in the 5th house. Are all your planets right together in the conjunction? Only my Mercury and Saturn are for me but Venus is still in the 5th. I remember reading that Mercury and Venus are friends with Saturn, so they will ease the hardships of Saturn as they support each other :)
