Libra Sun/Scorpio Mercury here. You’re right: it IS a strange placement to have. Personally, I appreciate people who have depth and have true and meaningful things to say... I feel that I resonate most with other “watery” people... BUT, my Libra sun placement (and Aquarius rising) won’t let me “outwardly” express my deepest thoughts and feelings. My interior world definitely does not match my exterior, and at times, it is confusing and ultimately frustrating. I am a Libra with a Mercury in Scorpio, conjunct my Neptune, Ishtar, Lilith (asteroid) all close to my AC in Scorpio in the 12th house. So I am one of these 'weird' people you are talking about...*)! I actually think it's a very good placement to have Mercury in Scorpio for a Libra, because it gives more depths, esp due to the fact that Scorpio is the 2nd house of Libra, so my 'treasure' is my Mercury in Scorpio conjunct my Neptune. This is how I make a living, through my Mercury. Since you've mentioned the Moon sign: my Moon is in Taurus, which always saves me, because it gives me stability. My Venus is in Virgo in the 9th, close to Jupiter in Leo in the 9th. Since my Venus is ruled by Mercury, it makes the Mercury qualities even more important to me.

I have the impression that a lot of people think Libras are superficial and they are fashion victims and only think about beauty, love ect.
