Nah, I wasn't really a fan of the new songs added to aimStrike. The original game was what struck me as the best game I've ever played, but its sequel was, in some ways, a letdown, mostly due to the songs added being bad and the concept of airfield support being removed.

ZOMG py There are a few things that made aimStrike! a letdown, like the waypoints, though that doesn't bother me as much now. I do like added songs, though it's not epic like the music from the first EA.

Actually, M13.Gravity (27:48) also feels like the situation of extreme stance/case: like you're being hit and losing control (no wonder why it's called Gravity, cause you're experiencing a difficult time, and close to death), or aiming at someone who aims at you. Although I can't say which case fits more, but this track has become my favorite.

Check DCS world or Falcon BMS 4.33... It's sad many people don't know that flight simulation has evolved so much under these titles(DCS Flaming Cliffs 3 even allows casuals).

I don’t think there was an official soundtrack released for Over G, but I can probably capture the music for it. When I have some extra time, I’ll get the music from there, there’s some great tracks on there for sure

I can't find any info about the original Energy Airforce. Only the sequel, Aimstrike. Is this first one for the PS2 as well?

+baxopoka98 Yes, the original Energy Airforce is for PS2. It's probably easier finding info for Aimstrike because it was released in United States. The original wasn't, but it was released in Japan and Europe.

Mercury144 I see. Odd that they translated it for over here in Europe, but never released it over the pond. Is the first one worth playing (big Ace Combat fan here!) or should I just skip to Aimstrike?

+baxopoka98 The first one is definitely worth playing! In Aimstrike, they added way points which weren't well received, though I don't mind them now. The first, in my opinion, is definitely the better one, but aimstrike is also a fine sequel, overall.
