The lightest one in the Zenon Family reel is the “Zenon LTX”, I’m not talking about the “Zenon MG-LTX” you have there, the one I’m referring to is just “LTX” without the MG, unfortunately TW or Abu Garcia America doesn’t carry, because it’s made BFS fishing style or ultra light baitcasting application

The Shimano Aldeberan BFS XG 16 is still lighter at 130g... but I love the Zenon 1000 spinning reel..

It's been doing pretty well. I haven't put it through a whole lot of abuse since getting a few of the Zenon X reels, but I'm still very pleased with it.

Very nice but a lot of money for China manufactured rod and reel. Can you imagine the mark up %?

It really doesn't matter, as long as the OEM manufacture make the reel according to Abu Garcia spec, it will be fine. All manufacture is basically the same either Abu Daiwa or Shimano, some of Shimano reel are made in Malaysia, some of Daiwa reel are made in Thailand , some Abu reel are made in Sweden and some are made in Korea and China, all of these company pass the manufacturing to OEM manufacture or build their manufacturing plant in the asian country to reduce labour cost, imagine all reel are made in japan, I bet the reel price will be more higher than normal.
