we have lifelight (a christian music festival) in my city every year and mercyme was here about 3 years ago. they were on tv and one of the anchors asked how they got the name "mercyme." the lead singer said that when he told his grandmother that he was starting a band, she said " mercy me! why don't you get yourself a real job?" love your ministry and music
