Just watched I can only imagine crying like a baby. My Dad was abusive and I got away when I was 14 and didn't talk to my Dad for 25 years. My dad found Jesus as his Savior. My Dad and I started to rebuild our relationship 3 years later he was diagnosed with cancer. When I went to see him he promised me he'd fight and beat the cancer. That was just after Thanksgiving in 2004. January 10,2005 I had gone to the store and I looked up at the sky and seen a double rainbow. I had an overwhelming sence of peace and heard a voice say it's ok let him go. I got home and called my step mom and told her. She asked if I wanted to tell Dad as she held the phone to his ear. I told him about the rainbow and the voice that said it's ok to go home. My Dad took one last deep breath and was gone. I felt my heart shatter into pieces then I heard that voice again say it's ok to let him go and again I felt that overwhelming sence of peace. I believe it was Jesus telling me it was ok my Dad was home with him. Thank you Jesus for loving my Dad loving me loving the world. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God but through Jesus we can live forever in heaven. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

While my husband was battling stage 4 cancer, he watched this movie at least three times. It gave him hope, but most of all, he knew he was lacking forgiveness toward those who hurt him. In the end, he gave his life to Christ! I believe this movie gave him the hope that there is life with Christ when we pass from this life to the next! I thank God for MercyMe and this film! My husband is now with Jesus, I praise God for this movie showing at the moment we needed it most to give him peace. Praise God, thank you Jesus!

This is what I am hoping and praying for. My husband is battling Stage IVc incurable cancer. He's scared of dying. He's envious of me that I have faith we'll all be together again. Our 24 yr old son has gone ahead of us. I use to be scared of death, because my young mind could not wrap itself around what we would be like. After my son's death 9 years ago, I got it. I want my husband to watch this movie as he had a difficult upbringing. I hope this movie will bring him into God's love and light❣️

Blinders were ripped off and I saw the truth and felt the love and spent so long in repentance. I still repent almost daily on things of the past and of current crap. I would get an ESV Bible and the app and start listening and start reading. God calls his children home. Also, I’d look up Dr. Michael Heiser. He has passed away but he makes the Bible so understandable. The watchers created so much havoc.

Inspiring.I am in recovery 6yrs clean from heroin, spead and alcohol. The last dramatic entrance to rehab yet again was 72yrs old. My faith got me through stuff you couldn't make up!! "I can only imagine" I was needed on the shop floor to unknowingly touch lives like mine. It's never to late to stop the madness. I'm almost 78yrs now as you'd expect a few health problems. Hartfailure and extremely ugly making Scoliosis but whatever, life is good and very precious. A gift we could loose in a flash so l'm light heartedly picking some songs for my funeral. This always is no1. Trouble is I won't be able to hear it. But who knows, l might be up there singing it and dancing for Jesus with an absolutely straight back. I can only imagine! Jude Bland

@katytinder I can only imagine. During covid. My daughter lost her 1st father in law to covid he had cancer too. Then her 3rd father in law was killed 3 months later in an attempted robbery. My mom's best friend lost her son in law to covid, a police officer. A week later his brother died of covid. Then a week after that his last brother got killed in an oil rig explosion..I also talk to my cousin who lost his wife to cancer during covid. He's sad as his in laws want to keep their only child away from him. It will get better trust me. If crying helps then do it but not to make you sick. Breathe and ask God to give you peace of mind. It's still not over for me because I have to take her ashes to another country so she can be with her family. God bless. My thoughts are with you always.

It hurt more than anything but Jesus kept his promise when he told me it's ok let him go. I lost my sister this year and my father-in-law last year. I miss them, but thank God for memories and for them no longer suffering. Not long before my father-in-law passed, there was a day when it was sunny but raining outside. I went outside with my baby girl and stood in the gentle rain. Not long after, my family and I saw a beautiful rainbow outside. I felt peace about my Pops (what I called him) and that God would take Him soon. He passed on a Sunday and was honored as a veteran. The day before my sister passed, God led me to pray for her. She had her struggles in life, but she loved the Lord. She, too, is forever in the presence of the Lord. I'm thankful 💙

Just saw the movie today with 40 of my church family. It was so well done. Very raw. Very emotional. Very sad. Very tearful. BUT GOD. He touched Bart's father and the whole relationship changed. This upbeat version of the song just feels like a weight has been lifted off of Bart's shoulders and he can now rejoice that one day he will be reunited with his father and see Jesus face to face. Such a powerful movie.

My father’s funeral was February 18th, 2023, and this was one of the songs for his services. Me and my dad weren’t always on the best of terms. In fact, we did have some difficulties and hardships, but naturally, as any father and son would, we did talk about what so has happened and everything, and naturally, we did let our troubles be put behind us and we did let bygones be bygones. As his health was rapidly declining, even after two heart attacks and a stroke, we actually were somewhat close than we ever really were before. February 9, 2023, his health was rapidly declining, and I called the ambulance and they said he had respiratory shock. At the hospital, the same day, February 9, 2023, 3:15PM, he died of congestive heart failure followed by respiratory distress. I can only imagine how well he is doing up there. I even hope he and my mother, who died four and a half years earlier of pancreatic cancer, are making peace with each other even when they divorced. I believe, if anything, he is at peace and is making peace with Mom. Dad? I can only imagine what it’d be like if you were still here. Truly, Dad, I miss you a lot.
