The first time I heard this song I was round about fourteen years old and it's been like a desire that I've had ever since I've been saved. Actually, I'm on the music advisory panel at K-LOVE, and I've expressed this sentiment to them repeatedly to no avail. And I have contacted the other local radio stations about this. I don't even get a response, and nothing changes. So, I did try. I think they are really missing the boat. Women make much better and much more moving Christian music than men.

Wish the Christian radio stations in my area would play more Meredith songs. Seems like all we get is Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Casting Crowns, etc. It's 90% male artists who all sound the same. I'd love to hear more Kari Jobe, Laura Story, Kim Walker, Misty Edwards, or heck, even Sandi Patty and Twila Paris. This is a wonderful song. Hearkens back to "I Am Thine O Lord", which has the chorus "Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord..."
