I wish our Milak river stretching from its source and way down to … all the swamp/bonds fill with natural fish 🐟 as well as hybrid 🎣 When such opportunity of having such prestigious portfolio by our Aor representatives, we Aor should take note of promoting/ revamping the natural resources of fish / aquatic species in our region where there are major rivers/ up streams. Such awareness programmes should be made to promote sustainable practices and ensure that the environment and ecosystem is protected by natural resources. Secondly, total awareness should be given to all stakeholders to avoid fishing by poisoning them with toxins and chemicals that can cause our health hazards not only killing the species in our sweet streams and rivers but also. “Aor ya khen pilemdangdi arung “. Traditional fishing practices should be encouraged or enforced to revived by the government through community awareness campaigns and community involvement in encouraging local in the form of sporting angling 🎣 like sports shooting competitions..
