I just noticed that Mergim has changed a lot. In his initial vlogs, he was a little serious something like that. But now, he is somehow getting pinoy vibes, he's more jolly, happy, wacky, almost crazy as usual pinoys. And love it seeing him having so much fun and embracing the 🇵🇭 culture.

The only thing he doesn't change is that his wearing black suit always.

That prom dance just gave you a glimpse why the Philippines is called the most Westernized country in Asia. It was handed down from the Spaniards but you must have recognized it is similar to the English country dance, French quadrille or the American square dance. A prom is also sort of a rite of passage, formally introducing the young ones into the society , complete with pageantry (the Filipino addition to the concept, the fiesta). It is also the dance used in formal gatherings like debuts, social events, etc
@milomilo417 Жыл бұрын

The Prom dance is called the Rigodon de Honor, w/c is similar to the French Quadrille . It is seldom performed nowadays, but during very special occasions, it is being revived. . This is one of the Spanish influence on Filipino Culture.

@@elgad82 It is Spanish in roots. It sure as heck not Tinikling inspired
@thwb4661 Жыл бұрын
@@NovaGirl8 It's not Spanish since it's neither a Spanish dance nor dance originating in Spain, rather it's a Filipino dance based on the Quadrille. "Filipino", meaning the hispanicized/christianized hybrid culture you see in Ilocos, Central and Southern Luzon, and Visayas.

Kapeng Barako took you to another dimension 😂🤣😹. Were you able to have a good night’s sleep? Yes, that’s actually the strongest local coffee in the Philippines. You should’ve reviewed it, because we remember you didn’t like one of those Japanese coffee (the sour one)you got from a cafe that just recently opened up in BGC. How does it compare with your favorite Amazon Coffee and Starbucks? 🤔That’s probably another great content when you relax a bit when you go back to BGC. As you may have noticed, Pinoys love ☕️☕️☕️so much too!

Then we continued drinking then the lechon was our pulotan, 😅😅. It was such a fun memory.
