Fun number stuff time! Noelle does about 1997 damage on average to Spamton NEO. Each hit averages about 666. Very, very interesting. Based on how Spamton NEO reduces Kris’s about 210 damage per hit to 10 per hit, we can see that it reduces your damage to around 5% of the original damage. With that in mind, Noelle WOULD do about 13,320 damage per hit without his defense up. In total, almost exactly 40,000 damage. Yeah, needless to say, Noelle is freaking STRONG now.

Small theory of mine ad to why Noelle is so powerful: its because of the soul. We know from Undertale that a monster with a human soul is pretty strong, and while the soul still resides in Kris, we also know from the King and Queen battles that it is able to "shine its power" onto its party members. My theory for the souls motivation in snowgrave (assuming the soul isnt just literally the player) is, that it wants to make Noelle into its new vessel, and will eventually ditch Kris Majoras Mask style. Also, Noelle may or may not literally be the Angel, so that would be pretty nice for the soul

It's most likely that Berdly is dead in this route. Inspecting the beads toy in the hospital normally brings up how the beads march along their set path. In the Weird Route, it mentions that the blue bead has been torn off the track. And then any injuries received in the Dark World are reflected in Hometown. If Berdly removes the plug on his face during the Queen fight, his arm is paralyzed back in Hometown. In the Weird Route...he might not be immediately dead, but if he is frozen and unable to do anything, he will be.

It's apparently a state before dusting, but you're already pretty much dead at this point. The development of each chapter individually from now on will be a lot quicker, since Toby now has a team. But since he does plan two release 3, 4, and 5 all at once, so it still may be quite some time. Also, chapter two started development around May 2020, and a lot of that development time was still without a team, so didn’t really take three years. That time in between the release of chapter 1 and the start of 2’s development was spent writing every chapter, so it should go even quicker now that they don’t have to worry about that anymore. I estimate each chapter by themselves will only take a few months, so we hopefully we won’t have to wait as long. And the next batch of content will be three times as big! Edit: Now that I think about it, chapter 2 might have already been done for a while. It was originally supposed to come out with the rest of the chapters, but because of the rough spot the world has been in recently, Toby decided to release it now to try and brighten things up a bit. While not confirmed at all, considering it was almost done around a year ago, that might be the case. All the chapters had some decent progress around a year ago, as we can see in the Sept 2020 DR update, and that is when he didn’t have a team and development started quite recently. So maybe the wait won’t actually be too bad…

I wonder what exactly Berdly not waking up means. Has he fallen down? Since there's evidence that monsters still turn to dust in Deltarune, he cannot be 100% dead (at least not yet), since his body is there. Does this means he will turn to dust by next chapter, or will someone get him to the hospital the next day? Or is his consciousness still trapped in the Dark World somehow and that's why he isn't awake in the Light World? There’s a little detail I found out about today involving continuity between worlds. SPOILERS AHEAD! If you deplete Queen’s HP to 0 in the normal route, Berdley forcibly takes the plug off his face, burning his wing. When you return to the real world, Berdley finds that he can’t move his arm, and Noelle carries Berdley’s stuff for him instead. Just a neat little detail I haven’t seen anyone talk about yet.

When you press Z and enter on the spamton fight, you spam the big shots and he gets mad. In update 1.07 his attacks are faster and more random if he’s mad. In update 1.06 he just gets more damage. Try no hitting him now, merp.

True, but fatal in the Dark World doesn't necessarily also mean fatal in the Light World. After all, your trusty Mecha Saber turns into a mechanical pencil and many of the cool or powerful dark world items are ordinary in the Light World. So Berdly's death may not be as serious as it seems - he really could just be asleep.

The reason Noelle loses health naturally during the Berdly fight is because the Thorn Ring is stabbing her. It says in the flavor text that it “damages the wearer from pain.” There’s also an unobtainable weapon that you can get by fusing the Thorn Ring and something else. Which is interesting, since it seems to only be used for story purposes.

Spamton is rather tragic if you think about it He only tells you how you're all alone, how no one will ever come for you, because he knows it alll too well. All his friends left him, he lived in a garbage dump, no one helped him. It is only in the normal route did he finally make a new friend.

Ya know Merg, you took a very interesting route specially with the watch, you only missed moving to the right after Noelle mentions it (yes, you can actually move in that cutscene) I won't spoil what says or happens, but i bet you know. However, both Ralsei and Spamtom are very well aware of the player's existance/influce to a degree.

@@Llama_Loca Actually, I tested this. There's a cap as far as HP gains go and doing a "Snowgrave" run puts you one battle shy of reaching the cap if you spared everyone else up to this point. Kris's HP caps at 160. Susie's HP caps at 190. Ralsei's HP caps at 140. I'm not sure if Noelle's HP caps at 166, but Noelle leaves the party after fighting Berdly on a "Snowgrave" run and should you choose NOT to freeze Berdly with the "Snowgrave" spell (thus abandoning the route), there's only one battle left in the city and that's the solo fight with Kris vs. Spamton and you don't get stronger after that fight, even if you beat him with violence. Noelle is officially out of the party after the ball throwing game cutscene, so I don't know if these would affect her at this time.

@@delta3244 Actually, it's scripted to be that Noelle _cannot_ one-shot at first. Her stats don't increase pre-emptively even if you've beaten everything prior. I've cleared out all the enemies before and still was unable to finish them off in one hit (except for the first Virovirokun, but that one is unique) with Noelle.

To me, Kris _probably isn't_ doing this out of their own free will and is being controlled by another source other than the player. Perhaps the _real_ knight is using Kris as a puppet? Consider Kris's stiff and limp movements when not in our control. We were probably show this scene to have Kris be used as a scapegoat or decoy. As to who I think the knight would be, I don't know at this time.
