We small town boys in Nepal grew up on Atif, Jal and the likes. It was the heydays of artists and with their albums. We used to eagerly wait for them to drop their new ones. There used to be such a race as to who gets their hands on the new CD first. Such bragging rights at the school the next day, more so if you've learnt the lyrics by heart. Now, after all these years I came back to this cos Atif is coming to Nepal this year and I pray and hope he does some of his old numbers.
